Looking for good CPU cooler

Right well my cooler is struggling to keep my OCed CPU cool at the momment and im getting a bit bored with BSODs. Im going to buy a new HSF in the £30 price range.

Any suggestions? Whats the best cooler i could get with this budget?

I love mine...keeps my Q600 @ 3.5Ghz around 28-29c idle and not seen it go over 47c while gaming.

Might want to check it will fit in your case though,Its not exactly a small cooler...plenty of room in my CM690 though :)

What HSF do you have now?

The one posted is great for the price.

I would point out though that you may want to check your OC if you are getting BSODs, unlikely it is to do with temperatures. If you mean you are getting BSODs because you can't raise voltages higher to keep it stable because of heat, you shouldn't have it that high

Nah its just the HSF its some Akasa thing and the CPU runs great and completely stable normally but with the hot weather im getting loads of BSODs, also my GTX260 heats up the entire pc so im just going to get a new cooler :)
 
not sure if adding a better heatsink is the best solution, may want to look at a better case if the gpu is causing heat to be transmitted into the other components... had that happen with a old rosewill case, moved to a antec 1200...never had a heat problem since
