looking for laptop deals

my friend broke his laptop recently (or it broke, idk how) it was the screen it looks like a crack on the inside of it down the middle and dell wanted $425 to fix it... so hes just going to buy a new one.

looking to set him up with a centrino computer, doesnt matter what brand, preferably core 2 duo (anything but a celery processor).

if anyone knows where any deals are i'd really appreciate the advice.

Well your friend can just get an old monitor, keyboard and mouse and just hook all of that up to his notebook so he can just use the notebook as a tower.

that can help him out for the time being.
