Looking For Laptop

Hey Guys!
Been a while since i posted here
Now i am really happy with my desktop PC
But i am wanting a really cheap laptop
Which can just browse the web and be used for MSN
The only requriment really is built in Microphone and webcam
I am based in the UK aswell

Hmm that is very expesnive i was thinking something £200 or under
Second ahnd doesnt bother me at all either
That also had 4GB RAM
1Gb RAM will do
All it is for is Vidoe confrencing and facebook

Your gonna struggle to get a laptop for under £200 with a webcam built in. Thats more of a medium - high end feature. You can get a good logitech webcam for £15 though. That will have a microphone built in.

For a laptop under £200 you will be looking at second hand for decent spec's, as, believe it or not, 2-way webcam(ing) with Skype does take quite a bit of processing power! Hope that helps, Doug.

If it comes to it i will consider selling ym Desktop PC
and get a more powerful laptop
 
Get a netbook, perfect for your needs and you shouldn't have to spend much more then what your wanting to to get one.

Damn dude, he is talking about 200$ in the UK, that is way out of his price range. I suggested the mini 9 cause it is perfect for his needs and with ubuntu it would work just as fast as a dual core for boot up time and the apps he wants to run. I checked it out for you man, a dell mini 9 from from the UK site is 199, it will probably only be a few extra $ for the web cam, wouldn't imagine more than 25$ at most. But that is with ubuntu. For XP it is 299$. But I would recommend Ubuntu for your use.
 
I have acer 4930 but i am not able to install xp in it , Acer Aspire 4720 have the some case or not.

Acer 4930 have more good configuration than Acer aspire 4720 , acer 4930 have 2 gb ram , core 2 duo 2.0 processor , web cam , but problem with acer 4930 is that you can not install xp in it.
