looking for montaging software (audio video etc)

hi,

i dont know if such a software exists, thats what i wanted to ask you.

im looking for a software where you can montage the videofiles on your computer. but also like making a slideshow out of pictures and adding music to that and making that an mpeg file etc... or cut certain parts to pieces.. put together.. add audio etc etc...

does a program like that exist or not?

In your WinXP (If you are using XP), there is a program called Windows Movie Maker, it can do what you mentioned exatly except for just 1 little thing, the final movie must be saved in the wmv format or the avi one, you can't save the final montaged video in the mpeg format.

If you want a more sophisticated video and sound editing program, you might need to check "Maya" or "Adobe Premiere". They are 2 of the best in my opinion.

And of course, such programs are so much out there, how do they make movies which we see in the Cinema then


And by the way, the more professional platform for video editing is the Apple omputers. All professional video and sound editing studios and guys use the Apple computers and sotware for this, as it's more powerfull than the IBM and MS powered PCs in this line.
