Looking for Scanning Software that allow for Duplex Scanning

Hi All,
New to this forum. Hope someone can direct me.
I recently purchased a Brother MFC-9970CDW color laser printer / scanner that allows duplex scanning. The document management software that came with the printer / scanner is Nuance Paperport 12SE version 12.1 and does not allow for duplex scanning. I read a lot of work-arounds on other posts for scanning and merging duplex documents, but I bought this machine specifically so I would not have to do this.
Can anyone point me to a good scanning (document management) software program that will let me easily and automatically scan duplex documents? I would prefer shareware but will purchase if needed.
