Looking for some fans

Hey,

So I am in search of 120mm fans. I have heard that Noctua is pretty good, low dB and high CFM. But after looking around, I found that Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm is better. Under the recommendations it has my Hyper212 in it, so that I don't think will be a problem.

What's your thought on your favorite fan? Keep in mind, low dB with high CFM is what I am after.

I am also want to give liquid cooling a try. I have been looking at the H100, but just realized it won't fit my socket. Even though I am switching sockets here right away, i would like to try liquid on my old system rather than my brand new. So my next choice was Swiftech H220. The nice thing about this one, is that it gives good performance, fits my socket (plus newer ones) and can be disassembled (even added on to).

Thanks for the recommendation, but when i look them up HERE It shows them being at 37dBA. Which a person could lower the RPM, but no telling what the dBA will be like at that speed. Very nice CFM though!

yes i know, i have a few in my pc, for my h100 and realy i find the noise not that much, yes mayby at full speed, but if you see the great cfm you can set the speed also at 1600rpm but ideed what a cfm performence

I keep my h100 on low unless I am stress testing for stability. I can barely hear it. On high it is a bit loud but I would never run it like that for daily use.

Use the stock fans with the H220 and upgrade if necessary.
