Looking into buying a new laptop...

I want something with a lot of memory, a CD and DVD burner, and Office... whats a good low priced laptop ? thanksss
 
there's tons of laptops out there, go on newegg and search based on the criteria you want, then give us a couple of the finalists and go from there
 
Do ur research on each brands name find out which one doesn't have drivers support and things like that and also think ahead about upgrading, as u know computer tech r changing as I type this message. Good Luck!

My wife used OpenOffice through Law school and she never had any problems with microsoft documents. I've read it's almost 100% compatible. Best part is it's free and easy to use.

Usually offer occasional sales on laptops that can sell for like 3-500 cheap.
The performace of the laptop depends on what you are actually going to do with it.

Gaming? then you are definitely not going to find a cheap one.

Regular use, then possibly a 3-500 one will do you good.
