Hey, guys.

As the title says, I'm looking for a gaming rig that'll be able to play games such as GTA V and Watch_Dogs at extremely high/maxed out settings. I plan on also buying Witcher 3 as well.

My question is, what do you think would be some good specifications for this? Processor, Video Card, etc?

Thanks!

i5-4670K $230
Z87 mobo $140
2 X 4GB RAM $70
GTX 760 $250
1 TB HDD $70
DVD Burner $20
Good PSU 500W+ $70
case $50
MS Win8 $100

I have selected a bunch of items but do you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and OS

Also would you a like a SSD w/ HDD or just one or the other?

Well GTA V doesn't come out until later assuming there will even be a PC version.

This build comes up to $945 (without the sales,) and without an SSD, Keyboard, Mouse, monitor, and OS. BTW if you are going to get this build check it out with a professional before buying it, im a little new at this.

Here's the SDD i was going to suggest : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147247

With the OS either Windows 8 or 7 it is comes up to $1045 (without the sales and SSD,) but hopefully you have an OS.

To make this build cheaper you could go with a cheaper case.

  • Fractal Design Arc Midi R2
  • Corsair CX 750M
  • Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H
  • Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB OEM
  • Seagate Barracuda® 1TB
  • Intel Core i5-4670K
  • Corsair Vengeance XMS3 2133MHz 8GB
  • Gigabyte GTX 760 2GB

This is a baller system I built for a friend recently.
It will most certainly play your games on high settings.
I used a 750W PSU because he's going to get another GTX 760 in the future. You would be fine with a 600W PSU, like the CX600M.
The RAM was on sale, but anything called Kingston HyperX or Corsair Vengeance should be fine.

Should be around $1150, but I would recommend getting a better CPU cooler (My friend already had one)
