looking to buy a pc in the 800-1000 dollar range, need lots of help

hi im new to the forum, as well as a noob when it comes to hardware and the like. im interested in a good gaming pc, and was wondering if i should purchase a brand desktop or build my own using seperate parts. i have a 9600xt radeon on this old one im using right now, so thats another thing that i consider a factor as far as the build your own vs. store-bought comp goes. would somebody mind helping me?

At 18A its on the low end of PSUs and for not-much-more you can get a much more solid PSU :) (and since yer upgrading from a case-PSU you might as well upgrade to a real PSU)
