buy a new HD for my vostro 1400. I want cheap price lol. Maybe $30 $35? Is that even possible? How long would a drive like that last?

How long the drive lasts depends on how hard you run it...and how much stuff you put on it. More so the space limitation is going to be a big issue with a drive this cheap. Also with drives this cheap stay away from hitachi
