Looking to free up some space.

I was wondering if it is safe to delete the files located within the folder Temp folder in my Local Setting Folder. I was just looking at it today and it is sitting at 6GB. Is it safe to delete all of its contents? I wont be deletign the folder itself, just its contents.

If not, how can I tell what is safe to delete and what isn't?

try moving them instead of deleteing them.
run the comp for a while seeingif it works, maybe even restart if everythign looks stable. if everything is running well THEN delete them.
 
or u could just delete them but keep them in your trach bin until you find out whether the comp works still or not...
 
Run Disk Cleanup. Check everything, and click OK. Delete every program you don't need. Go to c:/ and make sure everything is deleted (sometimes the folder will still be there). Go to Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, clear cookies, files, and history. Delete all unwanted favorites too. then Disk defragment.
