FSX has a very cool feature that allows two people to share an airplane, and i want to find some CFers to fly with :D

we can use ventrillo or teamspeak and do any type of flying you are interested in. i was doing touch and gos in a beechcraft king air with my friend last night and it is a lot of fun. anyone who is interested let me know :D

I can fly and am still learning (can't land ILS or use that stupid Garmin Glass Cockpit) but I'm up for it.

Do you use the 172S at all?

yeah, that was the plane i was taking lessons in for a while :D

i'm in a beechcraft duchess for now, and in FSX i use the baron 58 because it's the most comparable plane FSX has. the 172 is a fun plane to fly so we can use that if you want.

I'll use both TBH, I just prefer the instrument panel on the Cessna and the fact it's so much slower is a bonus.:o

I'll tell you when I'm ready because ATM my system is having to be reformatted because installing an Airport Express Utility seems to have seriously messed up my networking, that or it's a mondo coincidence.

What kit do you use to fly? Joystick, yoke?

Heh, I use a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke which is quite fun to use, took a while to get used to the slowness but I had to get a new one since my old faithful Cyborg decided to dislike Vista and go all limp when I tried to fly which was then trying to fly a creme broulet.

Just wondering DirtyD86, but do you happen to have IL-2 1946 by any chanse? :D (still looking for someone to play that game multiplayer with. ^.^

I dont have FS:X yet,.. I do have a Saitek X45 tough, since I do like to play WW2 CFS's :)

i happened to be flying over YSSY (sidney international) when i noticed the blue 747 to the right of the screen in the top pic. the view is out my left windscreen with 90 degrees of bank. i tuned ATC and he was announcing he was taxiing for a northern departure from runway 34L. i lined up with the runway in an attempt to stick with him but he was long gone by the time i got back around. luckily i heard his heading and airspeed of and that he was climbing to one seven one thousand. i put the info in my autopilot and was quickly caught up to him :D the next 15 minutes was spent playing with the 747. at the height of this i was inverted just off his nose staring back down into their cockpit.

these are the things that make FSX the best $50 i have ever spent :D

also, here is a really cool website i found. http://liveatc.net
live feeds from ATC around the world. i listen to it every night when i go to bed :D

no, i keep an eye out when i'm in stores but never see any copies. do you like IL-2? i'm a little hesitant to buy any more flightsims ATM because i just spent $40 on combat over israel and it is far and away the worst game i have ever played.

bullets basicly went from the back to the front throught the cabin/cockpit (from back right to the front), but the pilot didnt get hit. you can get 1-shotted (pilot killed) in this game,.. kinda sucks when its going really well, and suddenly the screen goes black! >.<
Still the best WW2 CFS to date,. the Microsoft CF's (1,2 and 3) are complete rubbish compared to this one. hope they release a new one soon tbh.
