I have a 4850 at the moment but I don't fell like the 512 is really doing anything for me. I was thinking of going with the 4870 1gig or maybe the 2gig not really sure. Also not sure if the Geforce is the way to go or not. Also a little confused of the memory clock speed some say 3600 and other only 1800. the faster the better right. If someone could please help me understand a little better that would be great. Also how do you set up like some people have with the stats of there pc at the bottom of there post. Is is always there or they put it in everytime.

Far left of the blue bar push User CP and then hit edit signature and type it in save it and whola!!

the 4870 is a good graphics card, I wouldn't update unless you are going to go hard out with screens and then run Crysis across all of them, I have a Nvidia 9600GT and run 2 screens off that and run Crysis across them with 30fps fine.

All I do really is play wow. Not really into any other online games. I hear Crysis punishes any video card though. The reason is though I have trouble with my card some times it seems that it doesn't processes the data fast enough or what not to the screen. I only have a 22" so I ddin't think it was going to be a problem. I was thinking of get a bigger screen but not sure yet. The system i have now is fine other then just seems the video card could be doing more.

What are your other specs? Because your CPU could be upgraded, plus, a 4870 can run wow by itself dude, it is a really good card, believe me.

I did what lazz1 said so maybe the spec will show now.

Well dude, you have a better computer than me so I am pretty sure you can run Crysis at full graphics with 30-40FPS, and if you can do that, you can play wow full graphics, full resolution with no lag, dude, turn up your AA, QSAA and shadows and stuff, you can own WOW

So you think I did ok for my first build. That is the only reason why i went with dual core and not quad really no reason for it if all I am doing is playing WOW huh.

So do you know how to mess with the card or anything as far as turning stuff up on it through the settings, believe that is what you can do at the bottom brings up something, as far as settings in the game there all the way up but when you are flying on the mounts sometimes it takes a bit for the stuff to show up as far as trees and things like that. I will post some pics of the pic when I get off work if you want me to.

Pic's ok, could just be lag as well, but all games sometimes will take a while bringing up trees.

To mess with settings, download a overclocking program (for ATI cards IDK what they are called) also in the BIOS in the cell menu, find something called
PCI-E bus or something, it should be at 100mhz, change it to 125, makes a HUGE difference, trust me.

Other than that, just google.

Ok cool thanks for the tips.

No problem, just be careful when going into the BIOS, change the wrong thing and it won't help, just change what I said. You can overclock your processor as well in the cell menu, it should be something like CPU clock and it will be in mhz not ghz, also some mobo's have the CPU core and RAM hooked so it may change the RAM speed as well, if it is hooked to the RAM speed, don't let the RAM go over 100 mhz higher or it will heat or just fail.

maybe the reason why things dont show up as fast is because of drawing distance being set to low. could be due to internet connection too. the 4850 is a good card and im pretty sure it can max wow out.
