Looking to upgrade for Star Wars Battlefront

Hi guys haven't been on these boards for so long and am looking to draw on this great community's knowledge Ince more. Firstly here's my system.

Cooler Master case I forget which one but it's big and black and easy to slot things into.
Cooler master gx650w psu 80 plus certified. Non modular
Evga X58 for the win 3 socket lga1366.
Cpu is an i7 930
6GB Ocz ddr3 tripple channel.
Nvidia gtx 460 1GB edition.

I want to be able to play star wars battlefront soon and for the first time in a while my machine doesn't meet the requirements. I was thinking of upgrading just the cpu, video card and ram. I have a 65gb sSD not installed also which I will put in. And I will keep everything else like my psu, mono, case etc.

My machine has also been neglected with cleaning so inside is very dusty. What's the best way to fix this? Compressed air?

Thanks all comments are appreciated.

Here are the recommended requirements for it. I need to hit as close to this as possible.
Processor (Intel): Intel i5 6600 or equivalent
Memory: 16GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent

What is your budget?
Would you want to overclock?
Where do you live and where would you want to purchases these items?

The best way to clean inside is with a soft paint brush and a compressor, if you don't have a compressor then use a brush and vacuum.

That i7 is still decent but I don't know if it will make the cut. I would first upgrade the RAM and vide card.

I live in the UK shlouski and my budget will be 500 pounds. I don't want to oc but will if necessary to play it on near max settings. And Calin. I know it's still decent but are there any cpus released after these that fit my mobs socket and fit my budget with ram and a new gpu also?

I'll be looking at ebuyer scan etc the usual places and will consider ebay from trusted sellers. Thank you.

there is the 990x which was an extreme CPU but it's just as outdated as your i7 and in games they perform pretty much the same

But I've seen some cpus that start with an x maybe xeon? Are they any good. Basically I need to know if I should up my cpu or if my only choice is to oc. Because I won't be buying a new mother board yet. I might include a water cpu cooler in the mix though if need be.

I still know a lot of people running 1366 Xeons but they're not that great for gaming but they should be decent

If you were to play new cpu intensive game using a high end card like a GTX 980, then your stock i7 930 would most likely bottleneck it. Its hard to say whether or your i7 is going to bottleneck in battlefront as I haven't seen any benchmarks for that game, I will wait until its release.

Your i7 930 overclocked to 3.33GHz has basically the same performance as the i7 975, but an i7 975 is going to set you back at least 100 pounds. The gulftown cpu's do perform better than Bloomfield cpu's, but the cheapest bloomfield is around 150 pounds, I don't think the performance gains are worth that sort of money.
Put your money into a great graphics card, maybe buy a cooler and OC that cpu, then upgrade your motherboard, cpu and ram at a later date when you have the money. Don't lose 100 to 200 pounds on a slightly faster cpu and end up with a cheaper card that your old cpu could have run anyway. If you don't spend all your money on the graphics card then save it and use it towards new parts.

This should be enough to get past a i7 975 and its much cheaper: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arctic-Co...734796?hash=item2a4eaf414c:g:pJEAAOSw2s1U0QO3

And this, sorry about 10 pounds over budget: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Seale...885074?hash=item1c5c7e99d2:g:jOwAAOSwA4dWIlsP

Thank you for the advice. I'll go with the overclock. Do you think my coolermaster gx 650w psu can handle the addition of a standard Kingston ssdnow. Oc my cpu. And perhaps a gtx 960/70? This is also very important. My other drives are a basic Hitachi deskstart 1tb and a standard dvd rw. No other cards.
