I'm looking to upgrade my computer for mostly playing World of Warcraft. I don't want an ATI video card because mine has not worked since I got it so I'm looking for an NVIDIA.

Well for WoW, any money you spend will probably be a waste -- spend a few minutes and get the 9600 to work -- the 9600 is already more than enough to handle WoW. You say "it doesnt work" -- so what's wrong with it?I'm looking to upgrade my computer for mostly playing World of Warcraft. 1. Did you install drivers? if so, what version?I think it would too if I could get it to work. Every time I use it, it works for a few days then the screen goes blank, and the computer restarts itself. When I try to turn it back on, the screen is just blank but the LED on the case is on. As soon as I take it out it works with the onboard video. Is the video card conflicting with the onboard video? Can anyone help me?
ATI said:3D applications may hang on some AGP 8X capable systems
The information in this article applies to the following system configurations:
• RADEON 9600 Series graphics card
• Certain motherboards supporting AGP 8X, including those based on Intel i865 or SIS655 chipsets
3D applications may hang under the following conditions:
• AGP Speed for the system is set to 8X
• RADEON 9600 Series graphics card and drivers are installed
This does NOT occur in all systems.
To work around this issue, set AGP transfer mode to AGP 4X. Steps are provided below:
1. Go to Display Properties > Settings > click Advanced button
2. Select the SMARTGART tab
3. Set the AGP Speed to 4X
4. Apply the settings change
5. Restart the system
