I was invaded by some spyware and in the process my desktop changed from what I was using (a picture of Mt Baker) to a blue screen. So now my desktop in just plain blue.
I have gotten rid of the spyware and when I scan with McAfee and ppclean there are no viruses or spyware.
When I go to Display Properties - Desktop all my various selection for the desktop are there but they are greyed out as well as the seach and browse selections. I am only able to change the color of the desk top.
I am able to select and change the screen saver.
When I go to shutdown my computer as soon as the icons disappear the old desktop is there for an instant as the computer is shutting down.
What do I need to do be able to change my desktop?
