Lost File

To make my problem short, I have a file that I downloaded the other day b/c I am getting an error message that the computer can't find it upon installation of my HP C5180 All-In-One printer. The error message doesn't give me the full location with respect to where this file belongs. The file is: hpzprl40.exe. Does anyone know what folder it belongs in? Or, can anyone tell me how to find exactly where it belongs?

I've already been in contact with HP, they really weren't a big help.

Reinstall the printer using the supplied install cd or download the setup from their website.

What operating system are you running.
Since it is an exe file, you do not have to place it anywhere, just right click the file and click on run as administrator.

But before doing that make sure you have installed the correct drivers for your OS for that printer.

Check this website out and download the drivers for your Operating System, and see if that works.

Thanks, tried that and failed.

I also have downloaded the software several times. I just keep getting the same error message.

In short, I can use the printer, however, the Scan Menu button doesn't give me all of the choices I should have, and the Start Scan button will not work either. Any other ideas?

I just put the file where I thought it belonged, now the error message has changed. It says that the "parameter is incorrect." Any suggestions?
