Hi guys. I bought an Asus P5N32-E Sli Plus, and set up raid 0 on it and all was going well. Then the motherboard died
, so I went and replaced it with a Gigabyte P35-DQ6. Now when I went to set up raid again, the RAID software that loads at startup didnt recognize that the two HDDs were in RAID, and I don't know how to get all my data off them. I went under the RAID utility and it said something about creating a new RAID array, but im scared I will lose all my data on the disks?
Can anyone give me some pointers to any programs that can pull the data off, or how to set it back up so I can recover it all?
Unfortunately failure isn't an option here, because all my RECENT Uni work was on it (funny how you're always just a Day out of doing a backup before your system fails ey???)
Thanks in advance, James
Forgot to add in earlier, when I look at the drives under VISTA disk management, one of the drives shows as a 'healthy' partitioned disk that hasn't been formatted, and the other appears as all unallocated space.
