First, i'll take a moment to thank your members for the advice on reseting BIOS, worked like a charm. Writing is a hoby of mine and occasionally I get published. Several years ago I wrote one of my best articles but received nothing but reject notices, it was politically objectionable at the time but the climate has changed and I'd like to try again.Trouble is I used the protect document feature of an early verson of winword, version 6 or 7, and, due to a serious illness, have forgotten the password. Suggestions would be most appreciated.

try this, you could download the trial and see if that works if that doesnt just go on google.com and type winword password recovery and try couple of the programs.
