Hi

I've followed all the instructions before posting here re AdAware, Ewido and so on, but it seems i've got a whole bunch of trojans that wont go away. These include CoolWebSearch, Delfin, 180 Solutions, KeenValue, Twain-something, SubmitHook, New Dot Net. I also noticed a lot of Trojan.Agent and Trojan.Downloader.Agent.bq files flying by on the scans.

I think I've got rid of some, but other keep reappearing. Hope you can help:

I've attached the HiJack log since I get a message telling me it's too long to post here (I renamed from .log to .txt). The log from the Ewido scan is too big to attach here too (135KB) but there are a lot entries re Trojan.Downloader that are in the Windows and Windows/System32 folder) (currently erased but they may come back).

This is taking me hours, so if you can help I'd really appreaciate it.

Thanks.

When your in windows, go to add/remove programs, and remove any program that you never installed on there. Once thats done, run ad-aware, let it delete what it can, then reboot in safe mode, run a few adware and antivirus programs, once thats done go to your program files folder and delete the folders for the spyware, run the programs once more, and they should be all cleaned up.

Download HSfix
http://users.telenet.be/marcvn/regfiles/HSfix.zip

Download CWShredder
http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/produ.../cwshredder.exe

Download AboutBuster
http://www.malwarebytes.biz/AboutBuster5.zip

Unzip them all to the desktop, check Ewido for updates, then boot into safemode (tap f8 on startup).

Once in safemode:

Go start > run, type services.msc. Find the service Workstation NetLogon Service. Double-click on it, hit "Stop" and change the "start up type" to "disabled". Hit "apply" then "ok".

Run Hijackthis and select "Do a system scan only", place a check by the following entries.

Close all open windows and browsers, and hit "Fix Checked".

Then double-click on HSfix and merge it to the registry.

Then run CWShredder and select "fix".

Then run Aboutbuster.

Then run Ewido and run a full scan. Remove all it finds.

Then boot back to normal mode and post a new Hijackthis log.

Thanks for the files.

The following lines you refered me to on the Hijacklog dont appear to be here;

Everything else went OK i think and on the last Ewido scan i only found 3 infections; 2 Delfins and a KeenValue which i deleted. About Buster found loads of files for deletion.

What next?

That looks better, still a bit left, tho.

Run Hijackthis and select "Do a system scan only", place a check by the following entries.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://uk.red.clientapps.yahoo.com/c...o/bt_side.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://uk.red.clientapps.yahoo.com/c...rch.yahoo.com/
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\blank.htm
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

Close all open windows and browsers, and hit "Fix Checked".

Delete this file (if it won't let you delete it, use the "delete on reboot" in Hijackthis "misc tools")

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\blank.htm

Then reboot, take a new Hijackthis log and post it here.

All done ... the blank.html file was already gone .. i'm assuming thats good!

Here's the latest logfile:
