Low budget for MOBO/CPU/RAM

My total came to £205.33. I was looking at a intel i3 which you could overclock, some DDR3 1333MHz 3GB Memory and a Foxconn H55MXV motherboard. If you can dind the same or near the same quality items at a lower price, you got a good computer.
 
£205 sounds very good for the i3 I was looking at getting that but couldn't get less than 300. I'll keep looking around and finding deals and cheaper components.

@daisymtc If I'm really honest I'd like to stick to Intel. AMD scares me.

What do you mean "you couldn't get less than 300? Those 3 things are the £205.

I mean I couldn't get less than 300 for all 3 components including the i3.

Ohhh...If you wan't a website that has a huge range of cheap products, visit icecat.co.uk. It's a catalouge of different websites products. If that does'nt help, try lambdatek.co.uk. Both are really big websites.

Any reason why? I've always used AMD, never had a single issue with it, nor has my brother who has always used AMD, nor either one of my friends who are both using AMD...and with your budget, Intel is not an option for you. LGA775 is not being used any more, but AM3 is.

Well I've never really used AMD so have no experience. I guess that's why it scares me because I'm not used to it. I may give that build a go.

One question. Would it run Modern Warfare 2? That's the reason for this build. Obviously with a capable graphics card.
