Low disk space in recovery d

My computer was freezing up ,was having starting problems so saved stuff and then reloaded windows Vista. Now it says my recovery disk is low space. I have run disk cleanup and defragging now what else can I do? I have a Gateway GM 5626

There's a guide on how to disable the low disk space warning. If it's simply a recovery partition, it really shouldn't matter how much space is remaining as it's only used for reloading.
