Low sound on Windows 7

Ok, I just got a platform upgrade, everything is now 100x better... just loaded up Shogun 2 with everything maxed out, and I've never thought I would live to see such a huge battle with so much detail running so smoothly.

But... one problem... the sound.

It's TOO low! I played around with the settings (using realtek HD onboard audio), searched the net for ages, but instead I found others having the same problem. Some folks recommended a windows 7 beta driver but I can't find it anywhere =/

Help?
 
Full system specs? Use PC Wizard (in my sig) and go to FILE, SAVE AS and save the text file. Copy the contents into this thread.

Are you using Teamspeak?
