lowering mic sensitivity

yeah im at a friends house right now, and his mic is wayyyy too sensitive, but when i go to the control panel to fix it

I get this error:

what should I do to fix it?

Grab it off of another computer and paste it into the same path you get it from...


C:\WINDOWS\system32\sndvol32.exe


Find it in the system32 folder, copy it onto a thumbdrive or floppy and copy it onto the computer in the picture's system32 folder

ahh ok sounds good, i just didnt wanna mess anything up on my friends comp lol yeah ill take it over via flashdrive tommorow and sorry bout posting in wrong forum.
