M.2 Hard drive

I'm building a rysen 5 3600x and getting a MSI X570-A PRO Motherboard from amazon. I think this motherboard supports the NVMe M.2 which is faster than the SSD drive. Can I put my OS on the NVMe M.2 ? This motherboard only cost $159 so will it do the job for me without some bottleneck I'm not seeing?
