M-ITX motherboard for gaming.

Can anyone recommend an m-itx board for gaming? I am looking to downsize my PC. I am using an I5-3570 that I would like to transfer over.

From what I saw they all have 2 slots for ram. Do any have 4?

nope. if you are gaming really you only need at most 16 gigs anyway, so 2 slots is sufficient.

That's what I figured. I dont do any video editing or anything.

Any recommendations for a particular board?

The Z77 Stinger and P8Z77-I Deluxe will both be high end but personally I think its a bad idea to sink that much cash into a dead socket.

That's a good point. If I could get a good board for $100 or so it would be one thing but the nice ones seem to be closer to $200. Might just be easier to save up while I let my current set up age a bit.

What case are you intend to use for the build?
There could be some small micro-atx you could consider.

its great and overclocks real great. got my i7 3770k up to 4.6Ghz on 1.33v. has wifi, and an msata on the back side of the board. I love it. got it married with a 760 and it runs games like a dream

This is complete nonsense. Gaming on 8GB is absolutely fine. Either way you can get 8GB modules making it 16GB anyway...

Yeah, I'd only buy a m-ITX when I really needed it for a little media center box or something...
