Yes, I know it's a bit old but I want to put in a new USB 3.0 HDD but this mobo hasn't got any USB 3.0 connectors. Can I just buy a pci-e card to plug in and will it give full USB 3.0 performance? Are there any potential effects on other USB facilities or other probs in doing this? Many thanks.:confused:
 
Thanks for that - but had a change of heart and decided to go for a sata hdd instead. Not sure which is quicker but I guess with my mobo maybe there's not a lot to choose between them?? Or am I totally wrong?:confused:
