So I have been trying to play some old N64 games via ROM's and EMU's, I tried the few for Mac that were available but found them either broken or just plain bad. So I figured it would be easier to get a virtual desktop of XP running, I chose Virtualbox due to it's price tag. After getting everything setup I booted up XP, installed DirectX and a couple Emu's. But I either get some error about an unrecognized transcode or various errors about DirectX not initializing and the fact that I have no hardware accelerated devices. I'm really not sure what to do here, it's now more about solving this than playing any games. I think it wants updated hardware drivers, but the graphics card is in the mac but it's a windows program looking at the virtual xp machine. Needless to say I have no idea where to go from now.
