You should really rephrase that, because im "into" graphics editing, and i can do it perfectly well on my PC, i think more top line 3D rendering and image manipulation is a more apt title. People in the industry, not home users. theres no advantage to home users in graphics editing when using a mac over a PC.... not noticeable anyway

u get my point

i admit the new os is pretty nice for macs, but i still dont like macs and i used to have an imac. and i used the emacs in school cause i had graphic design classes and i still prefered to use them on my pc. those brand new macs did crash by the way. my pc has never crashed and i do sumthings...woo. but has never failed me. and in the past whenever i used a mac and it stopped responding (like freeze) it never picked up. i've used low-end, very low-end pcs and when they stopped responding, they would start again in like 10 secs.
also macs are too limited for me. u can go on the net and pretty much find a program for anything u want ur pc to do. and yea pc do have hella viruses and stuff, but hey, they're still alive and kicking. and with my kaspersky internet security, i can go to sites i know im gonna get viruses from and it always stops them.

I said decently "retard". The internet on macs are slow as hell, even with a fast ISP.

And with the whole secuirty issue, windows is just targeted because 95% of the world uses windows, so why only make a virus for only 4% of the computers? If mac was more widely used, it would be just as bad.

actually the internet on my mac is faster than on my pc. r u using optimum?

i think he maybe meant like video editing. my dad is a videographer/editor and he tried using a pc and said mac was just better for that.

Maybe because the Mac had better hardware or software for editing than that specific PC did. And that is what they were talking about. Im pretty sure in an older thread, weve talked about the Powermac G5 Quad with 16GB of RAM VS. the Quad Opteron with 16GB of RAM, and im pretty sure the Opty won that one fair and square.
