Mac OS on other processors

Ok. Simple question. Is it possible to install a apple os (Tiger) on a non PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor. I'm building a computer, and I want a mac OS but I don't want to run it on their processor.

Because the new Mac PC using Intel's cpu,so some people modified Mac OS to make it run on normal PC which used intel's cpu.As far as i know,now a new modified version can be installed on AMD's CPU

Hmm. Thanks for the answers. So I can't just but Tiger off their site and download it onto my AMD processor? I'll have to think about getting a mac processor. Any intel would work?

Or you could just use Linux. I am just saying that you probably won't find help on this forum, and other forums that do not allow discussion of illegal content. Since it is illegal to install Mac OS X on any non Apple branded computer the discussion probably won't go any further.

However, there are other forums and sites that discuss this type of thing. Perhaps you should check out the projects home page <hint hint>.

Linux is linux... I have it on another comp and I just don't like it as much.

Well Linux and BSD are definitely different animals, but they are the same species so to speak. What do you not like about Linux? I mean you can run shells that make your UI just like OS X and it runs Linux in the background. After all OS X is based off of Unix. Technically it is Unix, which is very similar to Linux. I will admit that Apple made it very functional and very pretty, but the same things can be accomplished with Linux.
 
or you could run darwin and pretend its really osx, since osx is based off of it. Even if you do get osx to run on a differnt system, other then a mac, it will most likly loose alot of its preformance due to drivers and other issues like that.
