mac os on pc?

you know you can install windows on a mac using a piece of software well is there one for installing the mac os on your pc
 
yes... its called osx86

however the only way of obtaining it is through illegal means
so naturally its against the forum rules to talk about this

Shouldn't this be in operating systems anyway?

I think the mod should move it and then remove it, lol.
 
thats gay intel or amd should make a program to run mac os on there systems apple have done it so why cant amd or intel

Because mircosoft let you run their OS on anything at all and apple uses a more "closed" system where they control both the software and hardware. They have been using both of these ideals since the beggining and its probably why windows is where it is today. I dont think apple is just going to let sombody comprimise their ecosystem after they have been controlling it for like 20 years.

There is also some sort of law against it that apple set up making it illegal. Im not sure how well they enforce it but they sure as hell wouldnt tollerate some major chip maker doing it.

It is called TPM

and to get OS X to work on a non apple computer you have to hack the TPM (hardware) to get it to work. Which is illegal and violates apple's EULA. Remember that MS has such a huge market share that they are really almost a monopoly and that Apple must keep their product closed for quality reasons and because that is what they are selling you.

You can't compare a PC to a Mac because a Mac is not just hardware. Apple designs everything from hardware to the OS from the ground up. It has a higher cost of production, higher quality control, but it is a closed platform.
