MAC OS X Join Windows Domain

How can i make MAC OS X 10.3.9 Join a Windows Domain? The windows server is running windows server 2003.

So on a mac, you log in, like you would on a windows machine????

macs have SAMBA so it should be possible

but group policy, roaming profiles, login scripts wont work

but authentication will.

Are you talking about binding a Mac to Active Directory for authentication? Panther, well sucked hard core at that, so I would strongly suggest at least upgrading to Tiger, because it got a lot easier with the Directory Access Utility and the dscl.

Even if you join the domain the AD can't manage the Mac you would have to set up an Open Directory server with it's own group policy to manage the Mac client via the MCX.
