Mac taskbar...thing

I know there is a program to get that bar on the bottom of the sceen that macs use for pc. Does anyone know if it causes a lot of lag, is it safe and most importantly what it is?
 
Ya that's it!! I was looking at my quick launch bar and thought I just have to have something that looks better than this:D Thanks for the help

The only thing I don't like about object dock is it doesn't have smooth transitions when going out of magnification and in. And also when you auto hide it. It just pops up, no transition. I like everything to be smooth. :)

People say Vista has it's on built in dock, but I've never actually seen any proof. Microsoft said they would include something like that. I'm not sure though.
 
Vista does not have it. They have a sidebar but it isnt very good and it eats memory its not even worth it. Just download one of those 2 you will be a lot happier.

I havne't actually used Rocket Dock I've only seen screenshots, But I've used Object Dock... I'll give them both a try tonight :)
