MAC vs ASUS

i'm planning to buy a laptop and i need HELP. my two choices are Macbook black 13.3 and ASUS R1E-B1 Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 13.3" 2GB Memory 160GB HDD DVD Super Multi Tablet PC w / Windows Vista Business Edition. please list the pros and cons between the two. and if you can give me details on the warranties, customer service, and place to purchase.

What do you plan on using the laptop for?

I have a MacBook, and I love it, I also have a Desktop PC.

If you plan on doing every day stuff with some multimedia work, I suggest the Mac. Since it will be more user friendly. And if you want, you can boot Windows off of your Mac. But you can't boot Mac off your Windows PC.
 
Depends on what you're using it for, but mac books are better for average users looking for good reliability and simplicity. One piece of advice on the Acer though, Ultimate might not be the best choice. It is a real resource hog, so if you are going to get Vista, i suggest Home Premium

A) It's an Asus computer, not an Acer
B) It's got Vista Business on it, not Ultimate
C) Ultimate uses no more resources than home premium
