I just purchased a brand new macbook pro 13'' from microcenter a couple days ago. Today, i checked the battery percentage and it showed 7 hrs and 30 mins on 93%. I was very happy and then i started to download OX lion from the app store. Again, i checked the battery and its showing 3 hrs but its only been 20 minutes. Is this a defective macbook or defective battery?

Your computer started using more power when you started downloading OX lion. The battery estimate is dependent on the power draw of your computer.
