Just a fun fact. An Mac computer runs windows xp faster than the os it is built to run. (mac os x)
I saw that also. Maximum PC ran several tests on a Mac Computer and it turns out that the Mac ran the same programs significantly slower than Windows XP did on the same machine. They tested Games, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, as well as many other office and production/rendering apps.

I have my Mac classic as listed below. I have Photoshop CS loaded on it, my desktop, and my laptop. Now, I realize it's only a G4, but it's MUCH slower than my previous Athlon 1.4GHz, my laptop underclocked to 800MHz, and my desktop. Things just don't seem to run nearly as well as they do on a PC. Now, as for heat, I don't know about the newer ones, but this little mini is dead silent(yes, it has a fan, too)

What do you think the Macbooks are running on? An x86 based version of OSX.

i love the look of mac...but i'm not use on how to run them....plus they ar eexpensive, and harder to be compatible with.
so i will vote for Windows!

yes, what i meant was something that was more compatible with "windows" computers, i already have a disc that i can use to install OSX on my laptop, and potentially my desktop, but drivers are not released for most hardware for it, and it would be nice to legally run OSX on my computer

It's not as simple as that though. You cant go out and buy the x86 OS X and expect to run it on a standard x86 PC...
