Made my own fancontroller

Hi there.. so i have 1 little problem with my fan controller i made...

so i made the fancontroller able 2 turn off the fans.i put 1x 12v on/off button and connected all right after another guide. but the problem is when i turn the fan off the computer turns off also :I and i have to unplugg the cable from the powersupply and w8 for a minute and put the cable back in and then i can start my computer again.

what might be the problem

The guide is for an on/off switch that also puts 5V on the fan instead of 12V. They spent as much time discussing what it really did and what to call it as building the thing.

Stupid question, do you have any protections set up based on fan speed or temperatures that are affected by the fans running slow/off?
