Oh well...it'll be interesting to see what Averatec says... Recently, my harddrive in this machine has made some odd noises. I thought it might be dying, but it seems to only do so when it's plugged in. Regardless, I sent a message to Averatec. They asked me to find my serial number. They said there should be a sticker on the bottom... See that white sticker? I beleive that used to be the serial number

It looks like it got worn away somehow, or never got printed. Cant you tell them the model number and part number instead?

Yeah, it's just worn off. I remember it used to be there.

We'll see what averatec will accept

Do you still have the box to it? It may be printed on that as well.
