Mafia II and GTA IV

Hello. Sorry if this has already been covered. Anyone else looking forward to these titles? Some new news says that MII could come out as early as November of 2008. It was announced for the fiscal year of 2009, but now that includes Nov. 08 and up, evidently........

GTA IV hasn't been announced for pc, but some magazine says that it could be released as soon as October 08 for pc. They don't site any sources, but that's what they said (not holding my breath).

I built the machine in my sig to play these games (and many others, but these come first).......... hopefully it'll work out. Hopefully the requirements won't go over that of my machines..........

sorry dude,but I dont think that mafia and GTA can be compared.
GTA is the greatest action game,not one of the greatest.
 
GTA4 will be out on the pc, probably not for 12 months though, maybe xmas i hope. Mafia 2 I can't wait for, god knows when that will emerge... Hasn't been much news about it that I've seen (i don't read game mags or anything though, so...) but I'm looking forward to that more than gta4. Mafia has matured with time I feel - it's a much more impressive game now than any of the gtas

If I was comparing them, don't you think I would have put "Mafia II vs. GTA IV?" I was just trying to bring news about the two best future games that are coming. They shouldn't be compared side-by-side, as they are quite different. Can't wait for them both!

I agree with you, PunterCam. I loved Mafia. Things were more realistic and the physics were better than GTA's physics, in my opinion, if you want to compare. Anyway, you can't beat the story line, which Mafia definitely had that covered!
