Hello

Has Asus made yet any laptop or notebook with the charging system that uses a cable connected to the laptop by means of a magnet instead of a plug?

What models can you tell? If not, when Asus is going to do the same as Apple and include this magnet devices?

They are really usefull since they prevent the computer from falling to the floor or getting its charging jack broken whenever you pull the cable unintentionally with your legs while you cross a room?

Thanks

Google search doesn't show any asus models with a magnetic charger. Really, i don't think that most manufacturers of PC are too worried about the charger when they design them. Heck, it seems they dont even think about the placement till everything else is in. Ive seen ports on all 4 sides of laptops.
Really, the best way to keep the tripping hazard down is to either install a new plugin closer to the space you use your computer, or run an extension cord under a rug, or along the baseboards to your use space, that way the charger has 2 protections against harm. 1. it will have more play before it pulls at the laptop itself, and 2, it will be less in the way.
