Major Issues With Updating Drivers... Help!

I am trying to upgrade the graphics drivers on my GeForce 6200. I follow exactly what it says on NVidia's website and the updating program, but it runs really slowly when I finally get it to work...

Some help here?

(I've used system restore to get back to normal)

Are you disabling your Antivirus while installing? Dumb question but are you sure you got the correct drivers for your OS? Try the manufacturers drivers if all else. I've heard of cases where they are the only ones that will work sometimes. :confused:
 
I have got the right drivers for my OS and I am disabling anti-virus while installing.

I wondered that too about the manufacturers drivers, trying to download them now.
