Hey all, i am over at my friends house... about 5 days ago he loomed his NZXT PP500 500 Watt power supply with blue loom. It worked fine for 4 to 5 days of off and on computing... Well, tonight he pulled the side panel off to loom 2 of the case fans... he loomed the 1st one fine, then on the second fan, he accidentally cut one of the ground wires for the fan. Well, he just striped the wire down, electrical taped it, plugged it up, and everything came on fine for about 5 seconds... all the fans spinning (even the one we stripped and fixed) and right when it posted, there were for or five large discolored pixels on the top of the screen, and it would just lock up, not going into the bios... well, we un hooked the side panel fan that we messed up on, rebooted, and it done the same thing.... we unplugged it form the wall. we noticed that the on and off switch on the back of the psu, would only stay in the on position... when we flipped it to off, it would flip back... so we tried for about another 5 mins and it went passed the boot screen, into the bios... we checked the temps (everything running fine) and then some of the text in the middle of the screen turned green, and then locked up. we have removed and reattached all the hard drives, cdroms, video card, and all the fans, and not it will not go past the boot screen.... can someone please help!
