Make A Differnce?

Hey guys... I have a couple questions on memory. I'm going to get one of the X2's for my CPU (4400+ or higher). I want to know what cas latency is. Also, say if I wanted to get 2 gigs of memory, would it make a difference if I got 4 x 512mb modules or 2 x 1gb modules?

I'm not quite getting what you're asking... The X2 IS a form of processor...

RAM really wouldn't make a difference. I think getting 2 x 1gig sticks would be best so you have more of an upgrade path, but either or should be fine.

As for cas latency, I'll leave that up to you. Some of you people need to learn what a search engine is!

Praetor talks about cas latency in RAM 101. And you would see an improvement in games with 2GB over 1GB, but there wouldnt be much of a difference betwee 4x512 and 2x1GB. I would go with the 2x1gb since you can upgrade easier in the future.

This is kinda off topic, but i would highly recommend a different PSU then what comes with the case.
