Is it possible to set up a forum and have it working on a budget of 0$? No fancy stuff needed, just the basics.

google for invisionfree... its a hosted forum for free, basically what you need...

InvisionFree is a good choice, but I like phpBB better. Why? It's more secure (don't flame me) and its open source. phpBB is available on remote hosts at myfreeforum and forumer and forumup and whatnot, its a good choice.
