I'm making a new PC and I wanted to try running the parts by some of you to see if I've made any glaring errors, or just what you think.

do you need 2 7800's? ive heard people saying that by the time you would need that much power the cards would be outdated anyway.
 
Hey at least I went with the GT's instead of the GTX's. That's a total of $300 less right there.

As far as you comment about how they will be outdated before I even use that much power.. well, good. That means it will be a good long time before I have to updgrade!
 
Yeah but if you get two 7800GTXs then you wont need to upgrade for about 2-3 years, If your budget permits. I say buy ONE graphics card and if you need an upgrade soon, replace it or get another in SLI. If you don't plan on any upgrades soon get two cards. A major advantage of two cards is performance is almost doubled when you are playing a game with the settings max-ed out.
