Making a Windows ISO?

I would like to install Ubuntu on my new HP, but I am still going to need Windows for school. In the past with Windows 7 I was able to get a legit legal version of Windows 7 from my digital life and use my product key. I was able to obtain my product key from the registry but I have not been able to find the ISO of Windows 8 64 bit. Anyone know where one can be found or is there a way for me to make a ISO file from my recovery partition so I can install this in a VM? Thanks guys for any support.
 
Well it is standard Windows 8 64 Bit and I guess I could use release preview right? The issue is the release preview takes me to a 404- file or directory not found.
