Hey guys this is my first post. im kinda in a rush to get some stuff done so excuse me for being breif.
I recently came into possesion of 2 old 98's that are real low on memory and HD space and basicly were only used to read information from a server.
anyway i was pretty bored and started looking around in them. and decided to try and combine two and make one computer that can run XP. Its pretty ghetto rigged right now i'll get the surge protectors and stuff later.
But i have several questions.
1. When i look at the C drive under my computer it says total capacity 3gb... as far as i know thats pretty pathetic and to run an xp the min is like 4 gigs i think.
so i obviously need a bigger HD. question is; will any harddrive be compatable? probably not, so what specifications do i need to know?. and can i take another small HD and somehow use both?

2.the comp is running at 2.00 Mhz(i think thats what its called) i need at least 2.33 to run an XP and would like some overkill. Is there anyway to permanantly boost the MHz? (non overclocking-wise)

3. Can i just grab the other 98's processor and plug it in and call it a dual? how would i go about doing this (if its possible) link to a tutorial would be very helpful (again if its possible)

i can help with 2. and 3. for 2. yes Xp will run on 2.00ghz it just depends what kind of processor it is to judge how smootly it will run.

as for 3. no you will NOT be able to do that
