Making dvd copies

I am in the process of making copies of all the dvd movies I own, which are pretty many. Anyway I use dvd shrink to decode and whatever else that program does to allow me to fit it on a blank dvd. Then I use nero to burn to disc. The problem is I can get about 4 or 5 movies copied before my computer tell me I am running low on memory. Then I have to wait a couple of days before I can start coping again. I guess after a couple of days it regains memory again. I have 1gig of memory if you needed to know that. Is there any solution to this problem? Thanks

copying dvds is illegal even if u own them. i dont beleive we are allowed to discuss it here but i could be very wrong.

are you kidding me?!?! jeez you ''know who'' is getting outrages...

there has been many threads/posts about whether its illegal to back up your own paid movies to your hard drive or not, have a forum search.

Do a memory Defragmentation, its quite strange why its running on low memo when u back up 3/4 movies. I know dvd shrink use alot memo when backing up DVDs to your HD. I have 1024MB of RAM but never had that problem.

If Memory Defag wont solve your problem i guess you have to wait till an expert sees this. Best of luck

it is no way illegal to back up your own movies bob and it prob means your memory on your hard drive you should delete some.:)

of course not...thats why they say "making copies of this disc is against the law" or something like that.
