Making Dvd Movies

Hello everyone im looking to burn good quality DvD movies with backgrounds and menu screens. Currently im using ConvertXToDvD and it works ok but its no longer lets me place a background pic on the main menu. I want to know if anyone knows of anything better or that allows me to do what im looking to do. If you could help that would be great. :)
 
I tried to use Nero in the past but all it let me do is burn data or copy dvd. It didnt let me have menu screens or anything. What version allows me to do that? Also which ulead is the right one to get? I saw studio and movie factory.

I used version 7 before i think. Yes it does work. I made few DVD's with background and they also are playable on my DVD player.

Edit: You can use Nero Vision to do that as well on the new version of Nero. I'm not sure if the old Nero versions have Nero Vision in them. I only had Nero 7 before and at the moment i have Nero 10. There are few videos on how to do that:
