Making Icons.....

How do I use Photoshop to make .ico files? I need one for my new VB program.

I don't know about PhotoShop but here is a tool that makes icons that you can download a time limited trial of. What program are you making? I have used VB a bit but am not really too good at it.

This really isn't the "correct" way to do it, but it seems to work for the most part. Simply make your image, save as a "Compuserve GIF" then rename the extension to .ico.

I seem to recall getting some plugins and all for Photoshop, but none really working that well...

I am making a dashboard program in VB, I just wanted a few cool icons to tie into it.
